Example of SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Quick
Start
All of the above listed under BI.
Perform requirements gathering for cube development to
identify how many cubes are required and the optimal development
of each cube. It is at this point that perhaps dozens of legacy
reports can be consolidated into one cube.
Develop the 'Mapping Spreadsheet' to clearly define
measures, dimensions and filters to be implemented as part of
the cube.
Develop a starter set of cubes to be exploited by Enterprise
Guide or Web Report Studio.
Specify appropriate aggregations to support optimal
performance for each of the starter cubes. Use the ARM logging
facility where appropriate.
Configure the SAS Information Delivery Portal with the
client's own logo and banners.
Configure custom tabs on the Information Delivery Portal for
each reporting group as per the client's specifications. This
process also entails configuring content administrators for each
tab.
Provide custom training on Web Report Studio using the cubes
and maps build from the client’s own data.
Document and perform knowledge transfer on all of the above.
